Went to the zoo on Saturday, June 11, 2011, for some me time and to take a photo for the No Wimpy Girls photo-a-week blog. Enjoyed myself, but the animals spent most of their time in hiding since it was 90 degrees out. Left with no real photo for the blog. Came home wondering when I would get out again. Walked by my dining room window and saw this little Anole shedding its skin. Light bulb went off. I had my model for my photo for the blog. Ran a little Topaz Adjust on him to bring out the detail and the richness of his colors. I actually caught some catch light in his eyes. Enjoy!Three women with three different cameras; Pentax K20D--Nikon D300s--Canon 7D--52 weeks--one photo posted each week from each woman. Thank you for visiting our photography blog. Looks likes he saying, "Check out my new coat!"
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of going to the zoo today also, but decided it was too hot! Too bad the animals wouldn't cooperate for you! BUT...isn't this the coolest thing!! What a find! I like the DOF here and the catch lights in his little eye! He looks so helpless! Wonderful photo!
